Shopping List:

Fabric (140 cm wide): Option A (gathered waistband) - 261 cm fabric and 105 cm interfacing, Option B - 158 cm fabric and 63 cm interfacing.

Braid with Elastic Button Loops: approx. 40 cm (1 cm width). About 2.5 cm between each loop(see the tutorial on Instagram to make one yourself).

Covering buttons (approx. 9 mm): 12. You can add more if the braid has more loops.

Fabric Advice:

To make a classic shirt, use cotton, cotton poplin, or linen. For a more casual shirt for cold weather, choose cotton flannel or jeans. For warmer weather, I recommend crepe or English embroidery. For a more fluid look, choose satin, chiffon, or silk
